The hiring process for Accenture's Associate Software Engineer role involved three stages: Cognitive & Technical Assessment and Coding Round, Communication Assessment, and Technical and Personal HR Interview.
The first round consisted of a cognitive and technical assessment with 90 questions in 90 minutes. This was an elimination round, and those who qualified moved to the coding round. The coding round had two questions, one based on arrays and the other on if-else conditions. The questions were relatively easy, and those with basic programming knowledge could solve them. This was also an elimination round.
The second round was a Communication Assessment using the Pearson Versant Test. This was a non-elimination round and lasted 20 minutes. The test included sections on reading, repeating sentences, question and answer, jumbled sentences, story retelling, and open questions.
The final round was a combined technical and personal HR interview with two panel members. This was an elimination round and lasted approximately 20-30 minutes. The interview focused on communication skills and included questions about introducing oneself, explaining projects, skills learned from sports, managing employees, and basic HR questions. No technical questions were asked.
After a few days, I received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Accenture and was selected for the Application Development Associate role.
