I applied for an off-campus position at Accenture in April . I received an email that my interview rounds would be held from April 2nd to April 7th.
The first round was a cognitive assessment round. It consisted of 90 questions that needed to be solved in 90 minutes. The section comprised four sets: English, aptitude questions, logical reasoning, and questions based on networking and pseudo-codes. The questions were relatively simple. This round was an elimination round.
Those who cleared the first round were invited for the coding round. The coding round was easy. I had two questions. Those who could solve both questions were eligible for the Software Engineer role, and those who solved one question were eligible for the Associate Software Engineer role. I was able to solve both questions.
The communication assessment round was a non-elimination round. It lasted 20 minutes and included questions like arranging jumbled sentences and speaking on a topic for more than 60 seconds. It essentially checks your communication and speaking skills.
The interview was conducted on April 7th. It was an online interview, and I had to select a time slot for the day. There were two panelists. The interview began with the introduction of the panelists, and then they asked me to introduce myself. They asked about my projects and if I had worked on any projects in a team. They also asked about the difficulties I faced while working in a team and how I overcame them. They asked about my favorite subject and why. I told them Data Structures and Algorithms.
My interview went well, and the interviewer seemed satisfied with my answers.
I did not receive any mail or response after the interview. I am unsure why this happened, even after giving a good interview.
