I had a phone screen with a focus on coding. The interviewer was helpful and provided hints.
The interviewer asked me LeetCode 238. I discussed the brute force approach and then began writing an optimized solution. The interviewer gave me hints while I was thinking and also helped me fix minor bugs. I finished the question in 40 minutes and analyzed the time complexity at the end.
I learned that even though this problem is marked as medium, it has a lower acceptance rate on LeetCode. This suggests that GEICO's interview questions are becoming more challenging.
