My phone screen consisted of a system design question and behavioral questions. The system design question was unusual, focusing on CI/CD for identifying test failures, retries, and smart notifications. I had to come up with a solution based on the requirements given during the interview. The behavioral questions were quite challenging. I was asked about how I handle situations where someone underperforms, how I resolve conflicts, and what I do when I disagree with my manager's priorities.
