Hi All,
Just wanted to give back. This is my first technical interview as i am trying to move to tech from finance.
As you might know due to the war going on currently I had very little time than I thought i would have to prepare of these interviews.
One thing to note was that, I felt i need to talk and make sure my interviewer knows where i am going. As i am not used to doing questions with a time limit and esp. as part of an interview i was talking too much and writing a lot less code than i usually do.
Other than this and a few simple/silly mistake i made which my interviewer gracefully ignored the interview went really well. I thoroughly enjoyed talking to my interviewer and could have easily talked at least an hour more asking more about the work etc.
For the community, the questions I got seemed easy, turned out to be two medium questions.
Continuous Subarray Sum (I will never forget how I forgot "Mod" function in the interview. I am usually pretty good at math but just couldn't get myself to think of mod).
Binary Tree Vertical Order Traversal This was pretty straight forward and i finished this in time.
Overall I felt I did the software side of it fine with time/space complexity etc. But need to practice more questions esp. with timer.
Thanks
