I had my first virtual round of Interview at Meta and I must say it was altogether an harrowing experience. Following questions were asked:
Given an array of integers, determine how many monotonic sequences the array is built of. Examples : One monotonic sequence : 1 3 5 10 ( ascending monotonic sequence) 7 4 2 2 2 1 (descending monotonic sequence)
Two monotonic sequences : 5 3 1 5 6 7 5 5 5 8 19 14 4 1
Given a string representing an arithmetic expression with only addition and multiplication operators, return the result of the calculation. For example, for "4+2*3", return 10

P.S. The interviewer was really intimidating. I wonder why do they keep such interviewers who make other people nervous
