I recently completed a phone screen interview at Meta. The interview consisted of approximately 10 minutes of behavioral questions, which were not difficult. These included questions such as, "Tell me about a project you worked on." The remaining 40 minutes were dedicated to coding challenges. The questions were non-standard and of easy complexity; however, I am unsure of the interviewer's specific expectations, as my application was ultimately rejected. I found that my interviewer had limited familiarity with Python, requiring clarification on basic concepts such as the functionality of a for loop with range, even after my explanation.

The coding questions were as follows:

1. Given a current working directory string and the input to a cd command as a string, output the full path to the new working directory.
2. Given two linked lists containing string values, determine if the linked lists spell out the same string. The interviewer did not prioritize worst-case time complexity (Big O), instead focusing on the best average-case scenario. They suggested using a queue for each linked list and pushing strings to the queues. However, I received no feedback beyond the rejection notification.
