Meta Phone Screen
The phone screen consisted of a 20-minute behavioral section followed by two coding questions. The questions were variations of problems found in the 30-day coding challenge, but not exact duplicates. I used a structured approach for both questions:
Time management could have been improved; I only had 7 minutes remaining when starting the second coding question. However, the interviewer was very supportive. Overall, the phone screen experience was positive.
After three business days without hearing back, I proactively contacted the recruiter. The recruiter confirmed that I would be moving to the onsite interview stage.
