Recently, I interviewed for the Enterprise Engineering Role at Meta. The recruiter indicated the final level would be either E4 or E5, depending on my interview performance.
The process consisted of five rounds.
Technical Screening
This round involved two problems:
The expectation was to clearly explain my thought process, write code (execution was not required), and explain the code with a dry run.
Coding Round 1
This round was similar to the previous one.
Coding Round 2
This round was similar to the previous one.
System Design
Design an Instagram feed.
Behavioral Round
This round included questions about handling problematic colleagues, team pushback, a successful project, and managing missed deliverables.
The outcome was a rejection, attributed to a misalignment in the behavioral round, although my technical scores may have also been lower.
