Meta screening

I had a screening interview today. The questions were:

1. Remove All Adjacent Duplicates in String
2. Merge two sorted arrays and return unique elements.

For the first problem, my solution had a runtime of O(nk), where k is the number of times the input string is reduced. I used a recursive approach. For the second question, I provided a solution but was unable to perform a dry run. The interviewer indicated that this was acceptable.

I am unsure if I passed the screening round.
