I recently interviewed for a Meta New Grad role and would like to share my experience.
Phone screen: This was a quick 45-minute round with Meta-tagged questions of approximately Easy-Medium difficulty. I felt I performed well in this round.
Onsite coding round 1: I was nervous during this first round of the onsite interview. The first question was a medium sliding window problem that I had not encountered before. I provided a brute-force solution but did not have time to optimize it within the 15-minute timeframe. The interviewer then moved to the second question, a variation of a Meta-tagged question (Medium-Hard difficulty). I solved this question efficiently, exceeding the interviewer's expectations with an optimized solution that minimized space complexity. The interviewer seemed pleased with my performance on this question.
Onsite coding round 2: This round went very well. I solved both questions optimally, addressing edge cases, writing clean, commented code, and completing both within the given timeframe. Both questions were variations of Meta-tagged questions and were of Medium difficulty. I felt I performed well.
Behavioral round: This round also went well. The interviewer was impressed with my projects and how I handled various scenarios. Positive feedback was given regarding my experience managing complex tasks.
I am curious about the following:
