Meta | E4 | rejected

I recently completed my interview process at Meta for a Software Engineer E4 position. The interview included coding and product design questions.

Coding Questions: The coding questions were primarily either tagged questions or questions based on my previous work experience.

Product Design Question: Design an app that displays the top 10 most played songs for each user.

This was a question I had seen mentioned in online resources but hadn't prepared for thoroughly. I regret not dedicating more time to preparing for this type of question.

I received a rejection after completing the interview loop.

Tips for Future Candidates:

Coding:

• Practice coding problems to improve speed and efficiency.

Product/System Design:

• Review past interview experiences to identify commonly asked design questions and prepare accordingly. Many questions are repeated.
