The phone screen focused on coding problems in Python, deviating from the originally communicated scope of supply chain domain knowledge and behavioral questions.
I was initially told by HR that the interview would cover supply chain domain knowledge, operational fundamentals, and planning. However, the interviewer, a SWE with one year of experience at Meta, skipped all supply chain-related and behavioral questions. After a brief greeting, I was asked to solve two coding problems in Python on CoderPad.
The first question involved a mouse finding cheese. The second question was about finding the shortest different substring with N=3. I was expecting questions related to pandas or dataframe data processing. The whole experience was very poor. The interviewer no-showed for the first scheduled interview, and I was notified to reschedule after waiting for five minutes.
