I recently completed an on-site interview for a Machine Learning Engineer position at Meta. The interview consisted of the following:
Two coding rounds, which included medium to hard difficulty questions. I believe I performed well, solving all problems within the allotted time and covering relevant examples.
One behavioral round, which I felt went well. I utilized the STAR method to answer the questions.
One machine learning system design round. I discussed my approach to designing the system, covering aspects such as metrics, features, data, training, model selection, and evaluation. I did not have the opportunity to draw any diagrams due to time constraints.
One of my machine learning system design interviews was rescheduled. I am wondering if I should approach my next system design interview similarly, but include diagrams. Would this improve my chances of receiving positive feedback?
