My Meta interview followed a standard format.
Two coding rounds were conducted, with questions drawn from the top 150 problems and Meta's tagged 300 problems. In the first round, I successfully answered questions similar to those I had practiced, resulting in a self-rating of 'Strong Hire'. However, in the second round, I struggled with an initial easy problem, which I believe was due to a silly mistake. Despite this, I successfully solved a subsequent hard-tagged problem, including follow-up questions, leading to a self-rating of 'Weak Hire' for this round.
Two design rounds were also conducted, focusing on standard design problems. The first problem was a typical WhatsApp/Instagram-related design problem, for which I received a self-rating of 'Strong Hire'. The second design round involved a less predictable problem; while I engaged in a productive discussion with the interviewer, they challenged many of my design choices, resulting in a self-rating of 'Weak Hire'.
Finally, a behavioral round was conducted, based on my past experiences. I gave myself a 'Hire' rating for this round.
I am currently awaiting the results.
Update: I received a rejection.
