Microsoft Interview Process Timeline

This post is for the folks who are aiming to work for FAANGMs companies and not aware of the process timeline. Received LinkedIn message from recruiter1 Initial Consulation Call around 3 weeks for technical preparation Phone Interview with Team 1 Phone Interview with Team 2 no updates from both teams Cleared both interviews but positions no longer available recruiter1 mapping profile to another team , meanwhile received another open position from recruiter2 recruiter2 initial call phone screen with hiring manager for Team 3 + coding round Onsite with Team3 received acceptance email from Team3,recruiter2 phone screen with Team4,recruiter1(Higher Level) Onsite with Team4,recruiter1 overall postive response from Team4,recruiter1 but not accepted for the higher role. received official offer letter from Team3,recruiter2 Negotiation offer accepted for Team3,recruiter2 . . . anticipating to finish background,visa transfer and current company notice period in 8 weeks. forget about the stress from technical rounds, design questions, this whole process will truely test your patience and determination. So please be prepared for longer wait times. This may not be same for everyone but thought of sharing my experience. Good luck to those who entered this process recently.
