Hi all, Went through onsite for microsoft azure pool interview.
Overall Interview experience was great:
3 (1 hour) itnerviews with different teams:
2 coding rounds( 2 easy, 2 Medium) with extensions to it and
1 object oriented design question with experience based question
Was contacted by the recuriter on linkedin for online assessment:
Questions were based on the list you can find on here: make sure you donot copy the questions because they make sure to check for plagarism.
1 day later recruiter contacted me for scheduling the onsite. Pretty good in response. Flights, Hotel and car as I work in bay area. Scheduled with 2 weeks time left.
Recuriter explained about the process. Usually they have 4 interviews(45 mins). But this time they are experimenting with 3 interivews. About the culture kind of questions to expect. Teams they are looking for candidates.
Onsite Interview:
My interview was early morning 7:30. Set of recuriters will meet you. There were 30 people interviewing in the monring.
8:00 AM first interview. coding round 2 engineers showed up in this interivew
BuySell stock modification easy. Some modification
Phone keypad. Generate the words you can make out of this.
Some introduction about your expereience and what are you looking for?
15 mins break in between
9:15 second interview. Managerial round half of the interview on your experience and basic OOP based question. Was not prepared so managed to be okay. Not great got tensed answering about the recent project. Would have prepared wel for both OOP and experience (Tip: Dont ignore OOP. it matters)
10:30 last interview. 1 question based on Level order traversing of graph.
