Interview Experience

Online Assesment(90 mins):

Subarrays with given arithmetic mean
Minimum Swaps to bring red balls together

Technical Round 1(45 mins) :

Brief Introduction, then straight went into DSA question kth smallest element in a BST and made me dry run on upto 6 different examples and went in deep regarding implementing structure of BST. Whole round was done on Notepad alongwith screen sharing On and he was satisfied with every aspect.

Technical Round 2(45 mins) :

Brief Introduction and discussion went straight to my resume where interviewer went deep into hackathons i mentioned, asked me to explain a hackathon project, then asked about one of my projects where the interviewer asked me to vaguely describe methods to introduce some of the features into my project and he was satisfied by my answer.
Went to a DSA question Min Cost path in grid in last 20 mins of interview, asked me to explain various different approaces to solve this question and wanted me to code Djikstra Approach. I coded it following Clean Code Principles and wrote Modular Code. Interviewer was highly satisfied.

AA(As Appropriate) round(50 mins) :

Was interviewed by Interviewer with 15 years of experience and wanted strictly to stick to resume based questions rather than DSA questions.
Asked detailed explanation of my Project, told me to explain the whole database structure of Project. I mentioned Cloud Computing as Technical Elective in my resume so he asked me 5 different situational questions on Cloud Computing and asked me to vaguely describe how to move my entire app on Cloud Service Like Azure which i tried my best to explain. Interviewer was highly supportive and helped me wherever i got stuck.
Asked basic HR questions like Why Microsoft?, Which Products of Microsoft do you like and why?

Verdict : Selected
