Both were medium level. One was about finding min number of elements to add to make length of each block equal in a string where a block is consecutive fragment of same letters , second required sorting.

Virtual round 1 - (Started from 3rd week of Nov-)

Similar to Overlapping calendar problem. Similar to Island problem.

System design - HLD and LLD of E-commerce portal.

Virtual round 3 - (AA)

This was a really senior guy, Asked about projects on a very high level. Asked about location preference, why microsoft, why do you want to leave current company. Then asked a system design question to design and build Splitwise.

Got the selection confirmation immediately after AA round and 1.5 weeks after that submitted the documents. Its been 1.5 weeks post document submission and 3 weeks post AA round did not had offer discussion or offer release. few days ago HR said me that my offer is under approval process will take around 8-10 working days.

Can the community share some information or their experience about the Microsoft hiring process and the offer letter release timeline and process. Thanks in advance.

Update : Got the Offer Letter after 3 weeks of document submission. After select confirmation it generally takes 2-6 weeks to get the offer letter. After getting offer letter you need to submit all the documents for BGV and after ssuccessful BGV you DOJ will be decided.
