Microsoft | SDE2 | Seattle | March 2022 [Offer]

I got an offer today from Microsoft to be SDE2. I applied for Senior Software Engineer position and I think I did very good (however, not perfect) but anyway, I am going to reject this offer. This is just the first company I was interviewing at, so will continue to fight for my bright future.

The inteview consisted of 5 rounds. Every round was about 1 hour.

Every round included 1 or 2 problems to solve. The problems were medium only. No easy and hard ones. All the problems they asked were from the top 50 Microsoft questions.

Some rounds also included:

1. Tell me about yourself, your past experience, your achievement, your biggest challenges
2. Behavioral questions. Example: tell me about the cases when your customer was frustrated with your job.
3. Design specific questions
4. Other teschnical questions based on your resume

Do not forget to ask the questions about their team and what they are doing, show your interest.

All the interviewers were friendly and did not try to drown me. So, overall I liked the interview, it was great experience.
