Got call from recruiter via LinkedIn for hiring event.
Codility test
90 min test with 2 coding questions and few MCQs on computer science subjects fundamentals
Coding questions were on DP and BFS
Need to get minimum 50 % to qualify for interviews
Onsite round 1
Introduction and questions on previous work experience
Jumped on coding question to make key value data structure and retrieve data of first key <= given key
One other coding question but I am unable to recall it
Solved both quickly, went very well
Onsite 2
Introduction and 2 easy medium coding question one was again on BFS other I forgot
Solved both quickly, went well
Some OS related questions and work experience related questions
Edit : the second question was related to priority queue (heap)

Very senior engineer was there as interviewer
Vague questions on computer science subject fundamentals
Dive deep on each word I spoke to give answer of previous
I was clearly not much prepared on OS, network and core C CPP concepts and hence could not answer most of the questions.
They did not move forward as last round was not up to mark. From discussion with interviewers it seemed they are looking for someone with very strong OS, network and all. As per my opinion, all questions asked were purely theory based or something you must have studied in college, not much logical twist just matter of your memory or the time you gave to revise concepts. So if you are preparing for Microsoft, you must brush up fundamental concepts. Cheers!
