I recently interviewed at Microsoft in June. My interview process consisted of five rounds.
Round 1: Online Assessment
Round 2: Coding interview. The questions were "Majority Element II" and "Longest Palindromic Substring".
Round 3: High-Level Design (HLD) of TinyURL shortening.
Round 4: Low-Level Design (LLD) of an elevator system and coding question: "Isomorphic Strings", requiring handling of many edge cases.
Round 5 (AA): This round occurred the following day. The discussion focused on a Microsoft feature in depth, design patterns, and my resume.
After five days, I received a verbal offer. The offer letter took 21 days to arrive, possibly due to the fiscal year end.
