I applied for a Manager position at Morgan Stanley through their official careers site. I completed a HackerRank assessment with 15 questions and then received a call from the recruiter in mid-August. My first interview was on August 29th. It was a technical and coding round where I had to solve a question on HackerRank. The question involved dividing an array into two arrays with distinct elements, ensuring the sum of subarray A was greater than subarray B. I was able to solve the question and pass all test cases. A week later, I received a call from HR to schedule the second round. This round covered DSA, system design, and databases. I had to solve two questions on HackerRank, one DSA problem and one DB problem. I don't remember the DSA question, but the DB problem required two joins and involved three tables. I was also asked system design questions about analyzing and scaling a particular system, as well as some design patterns. This round lasted approximately 1.5 hours. On the same day, I received a call from HR to schedule the third round, which was a managerial round with the hiring manager. This round lasted about half an hour and focused on my previous projects, skill set, and some technical questions. After approximately a month, I received an email from Morgan Stanley stating that I had cleared all the rounds.
