I had a technical phone interview. It included four multiple-choice questions related to machine learning and two coding questions that focused on NumPy.
The multiple-choice questions covered the basics of machine learning, including the difference between Recall and Precision, probability calculations, basic loss function derivatives (basic content learned in Machine Learning courses), and Overfitting and Underfitting.
The two coding questions allowed the use of NumPy. The first question provided complete calculation requirements to compute the divergence of two distributions. The second question required processing input data and focused on applying NumPy. This was different from typical LeetCode-style problems.
