I recently interviewed for a PMTS position at Oracle. I was contacted by HR in mid-March, and interviews were scheduled a month later. All rounds were conducted on separate days.
There were six rounds in total. I will not be disclosing the exact questions.
My current work experience aligned with the job description.
Technical Screen Round: I was asked a coding question involving searching in a matrix and engaged in general discussions.
Round 1: This round focused on system design, and I was asked a common system design question.
Round 2: This round involved initial discussions about my current work, a coding question, and discussions about Docker and Kubernetes. The coding question was Trie-based, and I had 30 minutes to complete it.
Round 3: This was the hiring manager round, and it centered around the impact I have made in my current role.
Round 4: This round was similar to Round 3, focusing on situational questions.
Round 5: This round involved a discussion about my current project and a coding question. The coding question involved topological sorting, requiring me to print all sortable nodes and nodes that were part of a cycle. I had 30 minutes to complete this question and managed to pass six out of 13 test cases.
Observations:
I believe it is time to accept the lack of response as a sign that I will not be moving forward in the process.
