The interview process for the SMTS position at Oracle (OCI division) in Bengaluru, India, consisted of five rounds. The first round was a screening round with a question related to sliding windows. The second round focused on Low-Level Design (LLD) and included behavioral questions and a task scheduler LLD. The third round was a coding round that included a discussion of past projects, a coding problem on string manipulation and maps (not from LeetCode), and behavioral questions. The fourth round was a High-Level Design (HLD) round that included project discussion, designing a distributed rate limiter, and behavioral questions. The final round was with the hiring manager and included project discussion and behavioral questions. The overall interview experience was positive.
