I interviewed for a SWE Intern position at PayPal in . The interview process consisted of three rounds: an online test, a technical interview, and an HR interview.
The online test included five multiple-choice questions and one coding question. The technical questions were from Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). The coding question was a Leetcode Hard question titled "Kth Permutation Sequence (With arrays)". I was given five minutes to come up with an approach and then code the solution. The interviewer was satisfied with my approach and solution.
The HR interview focused on my projects and my experience working in teams. I was asked about my contributions to the projects, the team dynamics, and how I handled challenging situations.
Overall, the interviewers were friendly and I enjoyed the interview process. I was selected for the SWE Summer Internship . The internship is 12 weeks long and the stipend is $1200 per month. The internship location is either Chennai or .
