Salesforce SMTS Interview experience | 6+ YoE | Selected

I applied via employee referral and received an interview call within a week. The entire process, from application to offer, took approximately 4-5 weeks.

Round 1: Technical (DS Algo)

• Check if characters of a given string can be rearranged to form a palindrome.
• Smallest string divisible by two given strings.
• Program to count the number of connected components in an undirected graph.

Round 2: Technical (System Design) High-level design and schema diagrams of entities involved for a Vaccination slot booking system.

Round 3: Managerial The discussion focused on my previous work experience. Standard managerial questions were asked, such as what I would do if I were new to a project and my manager assigned me a production issue. How I would react to this situation, how my day looks in my current organization, and the ratio of coding to design work I do, etc.

Round 4: Managerial We had a somewhat in-depth discussion about my current project. There were some quick questions about concurrency, throttling, AWS Serverless services like Lambda, and how they work internally.

Later, the interviewer asked typical operational questions like how I handle conflict, what my ideal team would be, what I look for in team members, and how I would react if I didn't receive enough credit for my work. I answered these questions confidently.

Verdict: Selected!
