Details
The onsite interview process consisted of seven rounds. After being rejected, I felt disappointed and traveled with my family to unwind before sharing my experience.
HR Reach Out
Hiring Manager Video Chat: I'm unsure if this was the actual hiring manager.
HackerRank Coding: The first question was easy (I don't remember it). The second question was LeetCode 2571.
Cloud Knowledge: Since I only use AWS, the questions focused on AWS and were very detailed regarding practical applications.
Domain Knowledge: This round involved questions about pipeline system design and Kubernetes.
Onsite System Design: I was asked about my current company's architecture. Then, I was given a random architecture from the interviewer's domain and asked to troubleshoot. It felt disorganized. The interviewer wasn't a GCP expert.
Onsite Coding: Included typical coding questions and implementing an LFU cache.
