I applied online for a backend position at Salesforce. I completed the online assessment in June of last year, but it is not relevant now. After passing the OA, I had one behavioral round. The behavioral round was a review of my resume. Due to various reasons, the actual interviews were delayed until February of this year. I believe I failed the process.

The interview process involved two virtual onsite rounds, followed by an onsite interview at the company. The two virtual onsite rounds consisted of one coding round and one system design round.

First Virtual Onsite Round:

• 20 minutes of behavioral questions focused on my resume. I was asked detailed questions, including why I chose DynamoDB over MySQL.
• Coding question: LeetCode 1353. I haven't done many LeetCode problems and couldn't solve it. I thought of using a priority queue but didn't know what to put in it or how to determine the order. The interviewer hinted at using a hashmap, but I didn't understand why. I continued to try to code, but I failed.

Second Virtual Onsite Round:

I didn't proceed with this round because I believed I had already failed.
