The interview was for a Lead MTS position at Salesforce in Bellevue, WA. The question was a HackerRank coding challenge titled "Austin 1", which involved a math-related problem. I initially spent too much time reading the lengthy question and underestimated the formula by only considering the visible examples. When I realized my formula was incorrect, I had very little time to correct it and was only able to solve a few test cases. I recommend that candidates thoroughly read the question and if it involves complex math, it may be acceptable to look up formulas online. I am unsure why Salesforce screens candidates based on math skills. This was a very negative experience.
