I interviewed for ServiceNow for the position of Senior Software Engineer (IC3). I applied via employee referral. The whole process took around one month to complete.

Years of Experience: 5+

Round 1: 60 minutes

1. [DSA] Number of subarrays whose sum = K. Variation of Subarray Sum Equals K. Provided O(N^3), O(N^2), O(N) solutions.
2. LLD design of a JDBC type of service, SOLID Principles, Design patterns.

Round 2: 120 minutes

1. [DSA] Matrix-based problem. We have to find the row with the least number of ones. Provided an O(NlogN) solution.
2. [DSA] Math-based problem. Provided an O(N^2) solution. A few test cases failed.
3. Discussion on Java, Spring internals, Database Internals, Resume.

Round 3: 60 minutes

1. Discussion on work experience.
2. Database design for a restaurant booking application.

Round 4: 60 minutes

1. Discussion on work experience.
2. Discussion on different programming languages, pros, cons.
3. Discussion on MongoDB vs PostgreSQL, Consistent Hashing, Scaling issues, Resume.
4. [DSA] Customized sorting algorithm (Couldn't find the question anywhere). Able to provide a solution using Top-Down DP with an O(N^2) solution.
