This was my onsite interview experience. The coding questions were LeetCode problems.
I was asked about basic Machine Learning concepts and a system design question about optimizing the backend for high concurrency traffic. I felt this round went poorly.
The behavioral questions were standard. The Hiring Manager was present and actively involved in all rounds except the first, dominating the conversation while other engineers/data scientists remained mostly silent unless prompted by the Manager. I was rejected a week later because they found other candidates with stronger backgrounds. I think I need to improve my system design skills.
