I received a call from a recruiter for a Software Engineer position at Visa. The interview process consisted of an online test with two questions in 60 minutes, followed by a virtual onsite interview.
The onsite interview consisted of four rounds:
Round 1: Two questions on data structures and problem solving (Leetcode Medium difficulty).
Round 2: Two questions on data structures and problem solving (one Leetcode Medium and one Leetcode Easy).
Round 3: Design LinkedIn (High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, and Data Modeling). The focus was on basic concepts and not complex implementations.
Round 4: Design a Restaurant Reservation System (Low-Level Design and Data Modeling). The focus was on data modeling.
Hiring Manager Round: Design LRU Cache (as it was mentioned in my resume) and discussion on High-Level Design, projects, and other design-related topics.
