I interviewed for a Software Engineer position at Visa in January . The interview process consisted of an online assessment and three technical rounds. The online assessment was easy and focused on REST APIs and system design. The first technical round was interactive and covered a range of topics, including front-end technologies, databases, REST APIs, and system design. The second round involved a medium-difficulty LeetCode question and system design. The third round was the most challenging and frustrating. The interviewer's questions lacked clarity and he frequently interrupted my answers. I found the interview disrespectful and unprofessional. After five days, I contacted the recruiter who informed me that the feedback from the second round was mixed. Given the unprofessionalism of the interview process and the fact that I had other offers, I decided to accept a position at a competing FinTech company.
