I interviewed for a Senior Software Engineer position at Visa in March . I have 5 years of experience. The interview process consisted of a HackerRank screening test, a technical phone screen, and a hiring manager round. The HackerRank test included two SQL questions, two coding questions in Java, and a subjective question on Java memory management. The technical phone screen covered Java concepts such as OOPS, collections, JVM architecture, garbage collection, thread pools, and string pools. The hiring manager round included design questions, such as designing a write-intensive server and designing BookMyShow. I received an offer within a week of completing the interview process.
