VMWare

The first round of my interview process at VMWare was a phone screen. The interviewer asked four questions in 35 minutes. The questions were:

1. Add two linked lists without reversing them.
2. Detect a cycle in an undirected graph.
3. Given an array of numbers, find the minimum missing positive number. For example, in the array [0, -1, 1, 4, 5], the minimum missing positive number is 2.
4. Largest Rectangle in Histogram (Leetcode problem).

The interviewer seemed to have prepared answers in advance and was not receptive to alternative approaches or ideas. For the first question, working code was expected.
