I have 7+ years of experience and am currently working with a mid-sized company. I interviewed for a Senior Software Engineer (SSE) position at Walmart in , India in July .
The interview process was virtual and did not include an online assessment test.
Round 1: The first question was to find the first non-repeating character in a string. The next question was about finding the minimum number of coins to get a total of N amount, with a variation to find all the coins used to reach the total amount N. These were both LeetCode problems.
Round 2: The first question was Arranging Coins, a LeetCode problem. We had a lengthy discussion about the solution, which took more than an hour. The next question was the Keys and Rooms Problem, also from LeetCode.
I did not receive any feedback or response from HR, so I assume I was not selected for further consideration. It is frustrating that HR did not provide feedback, especially considering they are professionals.
