Walmart SWE3- IN3 - Management Mistake - Rejected After all round

• Total Experience: 1.6 Years (Full-time) + 5 Months Internship
• A recruiter from Walmart reached out and asked if I was available for three rounds of interviews after 2 days, to which I agreed.

Round 1: DSA

• Some theoretical questions on Data Structures.
• Presented with 3 DSA questions, 2 LeetCode mediums, and 1 easy, requiring optimized solutions.
• Also, asked some questions on Java collections.

After 30 minutes, the recruiter called to inform me of positive feedback from the last round and scheduled the next round within the next 30 minutes.

Round 2: DSA + LLD

• Presented with a LeetCode medium-level string manipulation question.
• Discussed projects.
• Designed Twitter.

Got confirmation after 10-15 minutes that I received very good feedback from the last round and was informed that my HM round was scheduled for the next day.

Round 3: HM + HLD

• In-depth project discussion.
• Discussed the Low-Level Design (LLD) of the Zoom Car app.
• The last round went well; we are currently awaiting a decision.

At the end of the interview, the interviewer asked about my total Years of Experience (YOE), and upon learning that I had less than 2 YOE, questioned who allowed me this opportunity. I explained that I had informed HR about my experience, and the interview concluded.

After the interview, I received a call from HR about my experience and was informed that there is a very low chance of selection due to this miscommunication. They assured me they would keep me updated.

Feeling demotivated as it has already been 2 months.
