I interviewed for a Software Engineer III position at Walmart. The interview process consisted of two rounds.
The first round consisted of five questions, three related to Java and general computing topics, and two coding questions. The Java and general computing questions included topics such as immutable classes, shallow copy vs. deep copy, and in-memory caching. The coding questions were:
I was able to solve both coding questions.
The second round was a mix of Java theory and low-level design questions. The interviewer focused on topics from my resume, asking follow-up questions based on my answers. Some of the questions included:
