I had an interview experience for a Senior Software Engineer position at Walmart in , India. The interview process was virtual and consisted of four rounds. The first round was a coding interview with two questions: creating a BST and finding the Kth highest node, and the Egg-Drop problem from Leetcode. The second round focused on Java and problem-solving. It included questions about multithreading, concurrent hashmap, the Java memory model, and creating a HashSet implementation. The third round was a system design interview, where I discussed my current project and how to scale it. I was also asked to design a system for a social media platform like Instagram. The final round was a behavioral/managerial interview, where I discussed my IT journey, past projects, and answered behavioral questions. The interviewer also discussed Walmart's culture. I received an offer for the position.
