I interviewed for a Senior Software Engineer (SDE3) position at Walmart. The interview process consisted of two rounds. The first round focused on problem-solving, with questions like "Maximum sliding window" and "Search in matrix of 0's and 1's." The second round was a low-level design round, which involved questions about string pools and access management systems. Unfortunately, I was not informed that the second round would be a low-level design round, despite asking the recruiter beforehand. I was told that problem-solving would be assessed, which I assumed would be standard data structures and algorithms. The overall process was slow, and the recruiter was unresponsive to my concerns. I received a rejection and was disappointed with the experience.
