I interviewed at Walmart for a Front end developer position. The interview process consisted of three rounds: a coding round, a technical round, and a manager round.
In the first round, I was asked to solve three Leetcode problems: "Valid Anagram", "Number of Islands", and "Best Time to Buy and Sell Stock". I was able to complete all three questions within 35 minutes.
The second round focused on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript concepts. I was asked about hoisting, closures, promises, callback hell, ES6 features, and more. I was also asked to implement an accordion using only vanilla JavaScript.
The final round was with the hiring manager. I was asked about my daily work, design questions, in-depth questions about my current project, the front-end architecture of my current project, and why I was leaving my current organization.
After two weeks of waiting, I received an email from Walmart with positive feedback and an offer discussion scheduled for the following Monday. I received excellent feedback from all the rounds, according to the HR.
I believe this experience can be helpful to other candidates interviewing at Walmart. The questions were challenging but fair, and the interviewers were friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a positive experience.
